We are heartbroken to share the news of our friend Simon’s death. Every time we filled out an event form at Snappd, we’d write, please send Simon, and he always came. He’d stay the whole show, every time he could possibly manage it, and always had such genuine warmth and affirmation for our programme and our kids.He KNEW our kids, frequently commenting on how much they’d grown, how their skills had grown since past shows. We were so lucky to have this dear man in our midst... in the arts community. We will all feel his absence so keenly. We pray for the comfort of his friends and family, and encourage you to help with his funeral expenses if able, and to share the Go Fund Me page. Simon, we will remember your big smile and generosity with your time and your skills. You have been taken too soon, friend, and the community will be the poorer for your loss.
