We were saddened and shocked to read Jamie Deanne Lynn Hoare's posts about Riverlands on Instagram and Facebook and strongly disagree with her portrayal of events and the nature of the relationship we had with her. We have had an excellent reputation in the industry for many years and find her statements to be offensive and believe that she is now setting out to damage our business and defame the character of the owners, our trainer, Wes Schild and our staff. We were disappointed in her actions and will monitor carefully what she says and writes about us. As everybody reading this is aware, there are two sides to every story, so if any reader wants to contact us, we would be happy to share our side of this story...

We hope you had a nice Christmas! We've been super busy at the barn and would like to say a special Thank You to young Leonard for his help. Leonard attends Xit'olacw Community School in Mt. Currie and joined us for work experience in the week prior to Christmas. He wants to work with horses when he graduates: We think he'll go far and his gentle humour and enthusiasm are infectious! It was really nice to meet you Leonard - keep in touch! On another note, it was also nice to see so many of our clients visiting the barn to see their horses on Christmas day! Where else would you rather be!

Hysterically funny! According to the fashion folk in ‘The Telegraph’ newspaper, this is what all us Country Folk are supposed to be wearing now. Nearly wet myself laughing! PS Please don’t wear fur in the country - unless you want to trapped, shot at or re-located!

So I go into the tack room and find this lovely bumper sticker stuck to the back of one of my saddles! Oooooo - somebody's going to be in troubbbble! Wonder who it could be???

We have been enjoying some outrageously beautiful Fall weather on the farm this week.Long may it last!

We're super happy to report that Florence by For Romance x Totilas achieved Premium Foal Status at the Oldenburg Registry of North America inspection on Tuesday at Camelot Farm. Both little ones behaved impeccably and were a credit to Wes and the team at home for their ground manners. Sambuca was also registered with a nice comment from the Inspector that she is an, 'Elegant filly.' We'd like to say a big THANK YOU to Anne and Tracey, who made all this possible and to Dia...ne, Jamie and Kelly for welcoming us to their lovely farm for the inspection. We'll post images from the actual inspection when we receive them from the official photographer... We're over the moon!!! See more

Every year Riverlands has been proud to participate as a sponsor of the Rising Stars Youth Dressage Championships. The Championships are held every August at Chilliwack Heritage Park in BC.Their aim is to provide young riders, 21 years and under the opportunity to participate in a dressage competition that is exclusively their own, from beginner to advanced levels. Whilst the event is fun and inclusive, its also a great place to spot up and coming talented riders - many of whom won one of these lovely Bucas coolers sporting our logo as modeled here by Rollo (and Adam).
