Alexander the Great Last weeked Riverlands Red Barn was honored to be the host venue for Alexander McCormack and his teammates, Thee Golden Spirits for their annual Dining For Duchennes Fundraiser. Alexander, now aged 28 has been in a wheel chair since he was a child. This very determined young man believes that if you set your mind to it, anything is possible. With the help of his teammates, he aims to raise $18,000 this year to be put towards providing essential mobility e...quipment for Muscular Dystrophy Families and funding research to find a cure for the disease. Guests at the fundraiser enjoyed a silent auction, raffle, dinner and dancing, but the highlight of the evening was to spend time with this inspirational young man, whos kindness, courage and persistence in the face of adversity will improve the lives of others.
