Our last class of 2019 was tonight. What a tremendous way to close a very successful year. We are so very fortunate to have a wonderful family of students. We are overwhelmed by the kindness that we get to experience, inspired by the enthusiasm, and are very fortunate to watch people grow simply by their involvement in Taekwondo. We wish everyone a wonderful holiday season. We are so excited to see what 2020 will bring. ... Thank you for everything.

We had a fantastic day at the Community Challenge Invitational tournament. 12 athletes brought home 13 medals. Way to go everyone! We also had another student join the Taekwondo Manitoba referee group. I would say this was our best tournament experience to date. Thank you everyone for your involvement.

Congratulations to the 12 River North athletes who competed at the Victory Cup tournament last weekend. It was an action packed day. I am very proud of everyone for their poise, competitive spirit, and bravery! Way to go Team River North!

Wow, what a fantastic day at the Winter Classic tournament. Our students showed poise, spirit and everyone cheered each other on. I am so very proud and grateful for all of you who make River North Taekwondo the family that we are.

Good luck to the River North competitors participating in the River City Classic tournament tomorrow. I know it will be a great experience and lots of fun for our club.

We've had 2 weeks of fantastic classes back at École Rivière Rouge. Lots of new students to bring new energy to our class. Since River North Taekwondo is family run, we believe that parents should be able to join their kids in learning Taekwondo. So parents train for free!

We had a fantastic summer program at GardenCity CC. We are excited that classes resume at École Riviere Rouge on Tuesday September 11th.

Fantastic promotion test last night. Probably the best collective effort we have ever experienced. Congratulations to everyone who tested.

Our next colour belt promotion test is Tuesday March 13th. I'm so impressed with how much everyone has improved in every aspect. Good luck to all.

New Year special! Parents, sign up your kids and you can train for free! Classes resume on Jan 9th at École Rivière Rouge. Come for a visit and watch a class.

Getting ready for the last class of 2017. We'll train for 1 hour and hopefully do 365 punches and kicks. Then we'll have a party and celebrate another year of great Taekwondo training!

Our summer program at Garden City C.C. finished last week. It was fun and very successful as we had many students training. Classes will resume at École Rivière Rouge starting Tuesday September 12th at 6pm It will be great to see everyone!

Congratulations to the students who successfully passed their respective Poom and Dan tests. We now have 2 new 3rd Pooms, 2 new 2nd Dans and 2 new 1st Pooms . Well done everyone!

Our 4th Poom & Dan test will be Tuesday May 16th. All eligible students will be testing for certification with the Kukkiwon, World Taekwondo Headquarters. Good luck to all.

It was a very successful test tonight. Everyone worked hard and we had some amazing moments where the groups meshed. I'm very impressed with how our club is doing.

Congratulations to all of our competitors who participated in the Taekwondo Manitoba Winter Classic last weekend. 11 competitors won a total of 15 medals. 8 for sparring and 7 for patterns. 8 Gold, 1 Silver and 6 Bronze. Way to go!!

Our new kids class is going very well. The kids are having fun and learning great skills. We are still accepting registrations for 4-6 year olds. Call, email, or message us for more information.

Congratulations on our students who successfully passed their Black/Poom Belt test on Thursday. We now have another 1st Poom, a new 3rd Poom, and a new 2nd Dan Black Belt. They all worked very hard to achieve these new ranks.

Great tournament yesterday at the River City Classic. We had 17 Winnipeg club competitors, and 9 Pine Falls competitors. Everyone competed at a very high level, and we had lots of fun as a group. The total numbers of medals: 15 sparring and 19 for patterns = 34 total! Congratulations to everyone who participated!
