There’s a lot of new fencing around trees and shrubs throughout River Park. Councillor Evan Wooley kindly let us know that they’re being sprayed so fencing is in place for dogs’ safety. We’re not sure which chemicals have been used so please be careful. Councillor Wooley has requested signs be posted in the near future.

Huge appreciation for the efforts of 24 AMAZING people who volunteered to clean River Park on Feb 1. Almost everyone came to scoop with a pail and shovel. Thank you for caring about the park and its users (two and four legged)!

We received a message from a River Park person who needs to re-home an 11 yr old Rottie/Mastiff cross. Diablo is affectionate and good with small children. He's not good with small dogs or in the off-leash park. His family will surrender him to Cochrane Humane Society on Friday, Oct 27. If you or anyone else can help, please call Wendy at 403-243-0394.
