Regina River Rats Junior Hockey Club

The Rats started the season on Saturday November 7th in Wolseley. A slow start got the team into a 4-0 deficit after two periods. In the third the Rats started to come on with goals from Jacob Arsenaut and Cody Geber to make it a 4-2 final. The return game on Sunday was cancelled due to weather. Next action against the White City Wizards on Friday at Balgonie and back home at the Cooperators on Saturday. Check the QVHL Website for game times and information about JR C.

A new season is about to start Tryouts are Sunday November 1st 7:45 at the Cooperators C4 Next tryout is Tuesday November 3rd 7:25 C2. Final tryout is Thursday November 5th 8:30 at C3.

After a tough stretch the rats are playing there best hockey showing why they are 3 time champs. The boys had a with a 5-3 victory over second place yellow grass wheat kings, and without the likes of their head coach or captain Jeff Senko the boys pulled off a 3-3 tie against the first place Wolseley mustangs. The game against Wolseley was a tough and rough battle showing why this is the best rivalry in the QVHL . The real season starts soon. Everyone buckle your seatbelts
