Boreal ’s seasonal concert of original songs and holiday classics is an annual tradition, making it the ideal concert to launch Live from the River Run on December 11, a series of digital performances filmed live on stage and streamed online to audiences for free. All aboard! Locomotive 6167 is leaving the station for John Galt Park November 14. To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, and for safety of crews and residents, the City asks residents to stay home instead of heading downtown to watch the train move to its new home. The move will be streamed live from Guelph Museums facebook page.

Applause for our Donors. River Run Centre was built with funding from the City of Guelph, Government of Ontario, Government of Canada, and from more than 1,400 companies, foundations and individuals. The late and great fundraisers, Doug Bridge and Jim Schroder, admire the sweeping view from The Bridge.

#TBT - Hats off to our volunteers. River Run Centre was conceived and built by the people of Guelph for the benefit of the community. Hundreds of volunteers have been involved in feasibility studies, raising funds, planning the building, choosing the architect, selecting the name, and staging the opening. Volunteers continue to play a vital role at River Run Centre. We salute the volunteers whose spirit illuminates the River Run Centre. #Guelph #Volunteers #RiverRunGuelph #RiverRun Images: 1997 Volunteers celebrate; inset 1989 Civic Centre supporters
