Growing baby angelfish.
These are the baby plecos we have been following since they were in eggs. The Father is albino and the mother is orange. Looks like they take after some distant relatives or some mysterious unseen plec of unknown origins.
We will be closed today due to the weather.
Came in to a nice surprise. Corydora eggs.

Here is an interesting article explaining what PH is, and why it is important to also check your GH and KH, as those levels are affected by your PH. Even though your PH levels may appear to be fine they do not give you the proper mineral count in your water. When minerals are lacking this can cause stress, lower immune systems, and lead to death. Gel food is appreciated by many species of fish and is a non messy way to feed species such as plecs and other grazer type fish e.g. mollies or many African cichlids.

For those of you having difficulty maintaining a good level of GH (general hardness) this product (equilibrium) by seachem is an easy natural additive that does not contain salt.
It is good practice to run your fingers along the silicone to check if it is holding. This is especially true in older tank. Another tank that needs to be resealed. This gives me the opportunity to do a deep clean. Bonus!?
