Hi everyone and welcome to my new page. For 20 years this year I have been involved in researching Canadian History and family genealogy. I did attend the Uni...versity of Alberta from 1994 - 1999 and studied Anthropology (major) & History (minor). During that time I lived in Jasper, Alberta which was a major historic place during the fur trade. I continue to do research in history as well as family histories that have a background in the fur trade. I have at times encountered frustrating episodes with information that is often dubious and unverifiable. January 13, 2014 - we we first alerted by highway travellers who stopped at Tete Jaune Lodge because the highway was closed at Tete Jaune Cache. Word so far is that it is not likely to open before Tuesday,Jan 14.
