Al is going to try and get an auction for December 22nd. If you bring stuff in, it will get posted. The December 15th auction listing is below. I just wanted to thank all of the auction loving folks who visit this page and who didn't call Al or leave a comment or send a Facebook Messenger message yesterday or today saying "Where's the auction post? Is there an auction this week.?" First, let me say that Al doesn't read posts or comments because he doesn't have a Facebook acc...ount. He might have an email account but has forgotten how to get on, so he doesn't get email either. The only way you can contact him without driving up to the hall is by phone 705-696-2196. Every week, stuff for the auction comes in at different speeds. Sometimes Al is doing a whole estate or house. Sometimes he doesn't have anything and is counting on people bringing stuff in. He doesn't call the photo guy until there is a full hall. So if the weather is lousy, and people don't want to unload in the rain, the hall stays empty until sometime Monday...and in the past, it has been quite late on Monday. Sometimes the photo guy runs into technical problems. The pictures get up as soon as they can be put up because that is only good business. The earlier they go up, the more they get seen and the more people might bid. That is good for Al's clients and encourages them to bring more stuff into the Hall in the future. The more and better stuff that comes in, the better for everybody. So don't bother asking. And if you have to ask, don't bother posting or messaging. It only slows the photo guy up when he is trying to get the photo album for the latest auction posted.
