As of June 1st we are allowed to start elective care on our patients. Finally we will start to get a little more normal. We have set up all the appropriate measures for your safety!

Yeah we are in Stage 2 of getting back to a new normal. We will accommodate to the new guidelines and make your visit as safe as possible. This has been a long 10 weeks!

Well we are now finished week 2 of emergency dentistry. Not so much fun all of this craziness but don't let the media get to you. We have around 37 million people in Canada and there are only approximately 3500 with the disease. That leaves us at an extremely low chance of getting it. The people who contract the disease are usually elderly with underlying sicknesses. We are just a phone call away if you need us for your dental needs!! Be smart and be safe!!

If any of our patients are worried about the safety of our dental office from the standpoint of transmission of virus there is no need. Dental offices have always practised very safe disinfecting techniques since the discovery of AIDS. All is great!!

Well it has been an interesting couple of days but we are open simply minus one of our rooms. We are very lucky compared to our neighbour the McDougall cottage. Thanks for all of your support.

Well to say the least we are closed today due to the drilling on the road yesterday causing an incredible geyser being set off from the main waterpipe spraying our office for 90 minutes. We will keep you posted. Today is a sad day!

Meet Dr. Carolyn Blair and Dr. Brian Stewart, a husband-and-wife team who enjoy running a small, very family-oriented practice for the past 20 years.

It is not uncommon for people to experience episodes of bad breath. Common causes can include: poor oral hygiene, untreated oral decay or infections, hormonal changes, side effects of certain medications and diet. It is important to not only brush and floss your teeth regularly, but also to brush the top of your tongue. If an increased oral hygiene effort does not improve the smell of your breath, then a proper dental exam should be scheduled. Persistent bad breath may be the result of a more serious problem like tooth decay, an infection or possibly a larger more systemic problem.
