Rivers North Ranch put the wagon away and brought out the sleigh. Enjoy a ride approximately 1 hr, lots of snow and fresh air. Rides are booked at 2 hr intervals, no need to rush 1-12 people - $140.00. Groups must be in your an bubble and not larger than 30 as per COVID Restrictions. We do include fire, firepit, wood, roasting sticks. You must bring your own food, beverages, blankets. Masks are requested. Please wear proper winter clothing, coat, boots, mitts, toque. Wed some of us took advantage of a day off and headed out for a ride in fresh snow. Raven/Chip, Trinity/Champ, Dakota/Dan and Viki/Romeo broke trail for the driving team Monty/Major. There were more than a few deep spots. The horses plodded along and cut a fine trail. We all worked up a bit of a sweat. Winter riding is fun: no bugs; the trick is to dress in layers.

T'was a wonderful day at the farm today. Raven/Aries, Trinity/Champ and Viki/Romeo took to the trail. We did some off-roading; after a couple of u-turns, and back ups, we found that these three trusty steeds were exactly what we needed for this adventure. The more they are ridden and the more they are taken out if their regular routine the better mounts they become and the better riders we become. A great quest in building self confidence and trust in both horse and rider, ad well as our companions. Mission accomplished.
