Mr Quincy Blue Hayes (by Vintage Blue out of Miss Blue Betsy) has arrived and settled in to his new home in Lymington, Hampshire on the south coast of England. Gill Aldridge, Quincy's owner, reports he's doing very well. We are excited to see Quincy's development in the years ahead.
Mr Quincy Blue Hayes, by Vintage Blue out of Miss Blue Betsy, a 2017 stallion sold to Gary Kemp of Kemp Equine Training this past May is now on his way to a new home in England. We are so pleased that these blood lines and this beautiful boy are crossing the Atlantic!
We moved our mares to a beautiful ranch at Lillooet ten days ago. Our stallion, Vintage Blue, will be joining them in the spring as breeding season kicks off. He's in Aldergrove for the winter. We are looking forward to a great crop of foals in 2022. Stay tuned!
Vintage Blue Nitro, by Vintage Blue out of Valentines Gidget (2014 gelding) is a beautiful foundation gelding. He's been in training with Gary Kemp for the spring and summer and is ready to work. Check with Kemp Equine Training. https://fb.watch/8fj1gDs5fe/
Let the mares out for a run yesterday, and Valentines Gidget realized she'd missed the memo. It didn't take long for her to catch up .
It was the boys' turn on the dandelion sea today. I wanted photos before four of them go to the trainer tomorrow. They waited patiently at the gate for the signal from Garth.
Yesterday I shared some photos of the mares, and later today I'll share some of the boys. But at the heart of our horses and our breeding program is the one and only Vintage Blue. I am biased, but this stallion is truly remarkable. He and Garth are best of pals . You can see he was rolling just before I took this photo.
The horses are still wearing some of their winter coats so they're not yet summer shiny, but today we got a couple of nice shots of some of the mares in a sea of dandelions.
Vintage Blue (front) and Mo Vintage Hancock (rear).
Moved the mares to new pasture. Almost impossible to get a heads-up photo of these shiny beauties.
Little girls who love horses . Vintage Blue on the right and Mo Vintage Hancock on the left.
Our brown roans change colour in different lights and seasons. Here's Miss Vintage Hancock (by Vintage Blue out of Roan Flutewood Filly) in two different lights; photos taken within five minutes of each other. Missy's brother, Mo Vintage Hancock (by Vintage Blue out of Driftin Bridget) is also what I'd call a brown roan.
