Thank you to Riverview Gaming Centre and Association for continued support of the Dresden Rotary Club Projects. With funds generated by c-gaming we were able to make Valentine’s Day special for the residents at Park Street Place. Each resident was given a shopping bag and was able to choose for a variety items including a flower, treats, personal care, and entertainment. A new CD player will also be purchased for the enjoyment of residents. Proceeds have been extremely important this year as all other methods of fundraising have ground to a halt. Although we were unable to be there to help with the project, we appreciate the extra work put in by staff.

Thank you to Riverview Gaming Centre for your continued support though these rough times. With the funds we receive we were able to make a $1000.00 donation to Outreach for Hunger in January. We are looking forward to the day we can return to the Gaming Centre as we have plans to continue our support of the many Youth programs in Chatham-Kent. Examples are Kiwanis Music Festival, Camp Cataraqui, Reading Buddies in the Schools, Chatham Kent Library, Lambton Kent Harvest Days, YMCA Strong Kids, CK Cyber Pack Team, Goodfellows Christmas, Salvation Army Christmas Campaign and others. Thanks to everyone who supports Riverview Gaming Centre.

Covid-19 has had a great impact on our community. this year the ladies exhilary of Branch 642 of the Royal Canadian Legion in Chatham still managed to donate $500 to the toonies for tummies program through Food basics. This donation was made through our OLG Bingo account. it is through the Riverview bingo Palace that we are able to raise these funds to donate back into our community. Especially out of time of great need. Thank you Riverview bingo Palace for helping us to continue to support our community.
