The Credit Valley Trail (CVT) was first envisioned in 1956. Yesterday, we officially unveiled the trail’s first wayfinding signage at Upper Credit Conservation ...Area! The vision for the trail is a 100 km pathway along the banks of the river, from the headwaters in Town of Orangeville to Lake Ontario in Port Credit. Thank you to everyone who joined us in the unveiling of the first stake in the ground of the Credit Valley Trail! We are so grateful to our partners who have helped us turn this 60+ year old vision into a reality.
