The staff, residents, and families of Riverwood Senior Living would like to wish resident Janet Luscombe a very happy 110th birthday! Hi everyone! So remember a few weeks ago we asked you to help us with creating some costumes? Well, we have a RESIDENT ULTIMATE SURPRISE for you! Due to the pandemic, the annual Alliston Potato Festival was cancelled, so the residents and staff of Riverwood decided to bring the festival to YOU! With YOUR assistance, the staff and residents here at Riverwood created their own float and hosted their own parade. There may have only been one float, but we think it wins first p...lace(). Our theme this year was to honour all of the frontline workers that are making sure we are all safe and healthy during these challenging times. We are very proud of our residents for participating in this initiative and for thinking of others and their well being.
