Snowshoes | Stutfield Glacier, Jasper National Park Hands down yesterday was one of the best trips of 2021, a great solo day trip to the Stutfield Glacier in Jasper National Park. The conditions going in were perfect as the ice above the snow was still frozen, although coming back was a little bit trickier as the snow had melted and I was postholing 2 ft. deep even with snowshoes on. With beautiful views from start to finish the only off-putting thing was the sounds of consta...nt rock slides and cracking ice. Roughly 13 km with time for photos and lunch I would say it was a 6 hour trip. Share with friends & family! Fitzwilliam | British Columbia Mount Fitzwilliam has to be one of my favorite Mountain peaks, especially from this angle. I will never forget this day, as I may or may have not fell into the Fraser River. Also attached below we have an incredible video of The Climb of Mt. Fitzwilliam in September 1940. Half and Half | Canadian Rockies I had a great opportunity the other week when I ran into this young bear as I was photographing a small run-off Creek along the backside of Mt. Kerkeslin. I was able to spend about half an hour with this bear as he grazed a open field of lush green grass and fresh dandelions.
