I had the honor of making a Doctor Who TARDIS for my nieces wedding. Guests could open the door and place their card or small gift inside. Once the door closed the TARDIS "taking off" sound would play and the lights would flash. My cousin-in-law Sylvia is directing "It's A Wonderful Life" as a live radio drama that takes place in 1946. It takes place in a radio station. She needed a "On The Air" and "Applause" sign. Had some spare plex around and then arranged to have some red vinyl letters cut...put them together and voila! This is a 3rd year theatre practicum show at CapU. Break a leg everyone!
