Nicholas Latifi has been confirmed today as race driver for ROKiT Williams Racing for 2020. He will join Lance Stroll and for the first time, two Canadian drivers will be full time drivers in the Formula 1 championship. Same as Lance, Nicholas started his racing career in karting in the Rotax MAX Challenge program and represented Canada three times at the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals (2010 Italy, 2011 U.A.E and 2012 Portugal). Today was the day of the pre-final races in all categories. It was also a difficult day for the drivers as at the end of the day, half of the drivers in the MAX Junior, Senior, DD2 and DD2 Masters categories were eliminated to keep only 36 in each of the finals. Watch the video of the day that summarizes the performance of Team Canada drivers.
