Canadian Agricultural Loans Act Program The Canadian Agricultural Loans Act (CALA) Program is a loan guarantee program designed to increase the availability of loans to farmers and agricultural co-operatives. Farmers can use these loans to establish, improve, and develop farms, while agricultural co-operatives may also access loans to process, distribute, or market the products of farming. Under the CALA, the federal government guarantees, to the lender, repayment of 95% of ...a net loss on an eligible loan issued. The maximum aggregate loan limit for any one farm operation is $500,000. Loans are limited to a maximum of: $500,000 for the purchase of land and the construction or improvement of buildings $350,000 for all other loan purposes, including consolidation/refinancing The maximum aggregate loan limit for agricultural co-operatives is $3 million, with the Minister's approval. For example: If a farmer gets a CALA loan for $300,000 for a tractor, he can still access up to $200,000 for land purchase or building repair, or $50,000 for another implement and $150,000 for land purchase or building repair. Eligibility You can apply if you are one of the following: existing farmers beginning farmers (that is, less than 6 years of farming) start-up farmers farmers taking over the family farm part-time farmers agricultural co-operatives with a majority (50% + 1) farmer membership Here is the link for more information: https://www.agr.gc.ca//canadian-agricultural-loans-act-p/

FYI From Sask. Health Authority Fact check: Only those who take a COVID-19 test will get a call with results https://www.saskhealthauthority.ca//Fact-check-Only-those- With so much information coming at a person about COVID-19, sometimes it is difficult to tell fact from fiction.... One rumour regarding testing that is currently making the rounds on social media is a claim that people are getting calls that they are COVID-19 positive without having had a test. This is definitely a myth. SHA Public Health staff will only call with COVID-19 test results if you had a recent test. SHA staff take your health/contact information for the purpose of doing the test only. This information is attached to the swab that is taken, and is used for no other purpose. Currently there are a few scams going around where people call asking for personal information claiming it has to do with COVID-19 testing. Please be very careful about personal information you give out over the phone, especially if they are asking for your social insurance numberPublic Health will never ask for your SIN number.

We have so much information out there about what can be put in the b...lue bins, AND YET this kind of thing happens which jeopardizes everyone's efforts. How many things can YOU find are in this picture that are NOT recyclable items?
