Trails AM/PM, Far Side and MacLaurin’s Crossing bridge to be closed during Cheakamus Lake Road Fuel Thinning project Due to trail users crossing through the active fuel thinning project area, AM/PM, Farside trails and the MacLaurin’s Crossing bridge have been closed for the remainder of the project for public safety. The trails will be open over the holidays from December 19 to January 3, but will be closed again from public access as of January 4. Please be reminded that Cheakamus Lake Road remains closed throughout the holiday period and until the end of the project in late February.
