Our first meeting of the new year will be Tuesday January 14th. Our program will be Kevin Williams from Dragonfly presenting with a trunk show and pop up shop. Come by and say hello

Our first meeting of the year will be on September 10th ,7pm.. This is a great chance to come and visit, experience the guild in action. Bring a small note book and pen ( to write down upcoming events ) and a coffee cup. The annual membership fee for 2019-2020 is $45.00. Some guild benefits for members include; a library, trunk shows, workshops, programs, demonstrations, & an annual guild retreat. Free sewing days offer fellowship & fun in a learn about quilting atmosphere...! Our guild donated 35 "Canada Day" placemats to meals on wheels this summer. We will also make and donate placemats at Christmas , a fun project for a great cause Come visit and say Hello.

Ridge Meadows Quilters Guild will hold their Quilt Show on Friday and Saturday, April 12 & 13, The venue is the Maple Ridge Alliance Church at 20399 Dewdney Trunk Road. There will be a mix of modern and traditional quilts plus a quilt challenge and featured quilt artist - Vivian Kapusta. There is also a boutique for items large and small. Save the dates !

Getting ready for our Nov 13th meeting. My thread catcher for the swap is done, working on my new name tag and then Christmas placemats for meals on wheels. Lots of fun , plus we will have Stacey Day as our guest speaker

Our next meeting is Tuesday April 10th. We have a fun evening planned with a silent service auction and three demo stations set up . Members can pick up tips on how to clean their Featherweights, how to organize their pintrest saves and some technique tips on EPP. Should be a fun evening.

Our March 13th meeting will host Julie Faulkner. Julie is a Judy Niemyer CI and will present her quilts and have patterns to sell. Hope to see you there
