Road To Sooke 08.11.2020

How do we make playing a board game Covid safe? Risk is as good one because each player has colour-coded pieces that only they can touch. If you've ever played before you know it gets pretty tense when you move someone else's army... The dice will pass from player to player, but those are easy to sanitize. We'll have a small cup of sanitizer and a tea strainer to clean the dice as they change hands. ... With a maximum of 6 players, and a large table to play on, we'll have plenty of elbow room between competitors, but masks will still be required while seated as game play will be hosted in the hotel lobby. Honestly, we're hoping to see this event bought out by one "Safe Six" as a fun get together on what will likely be a cold, rainy November day. Ticket link in the event details, or drop by the cafe for more info!

McDonald's, we're all bored with your Monopoly sticker game, and all I've ever won are some stale fries. We're raising the stakes with "Risky Business". Join us on the Road to World Domination at Road to Sooke Cafe. Lunch for everyone, fabulous prizes for the winner, and horrible prizes for the losers.

The first month of Bread Club is going great! After hearing from a few of our regulars, we've created a second membership level for next month; "The Weekly Loafer" is just one loaf per week. Enough for about 5 sandwiches, or breakfast toast for the week. All the info is listed on our online Bread Club shop here >> https://rtsbreadclub.square.site/

We will be closed on Sunday, October 11th for holiday observance and gravy indulgence. Happy Thanksgiving!
