'Serve Up Fire Safety in the Kitchen' is this year's Fire Prevention Week theme. Cooking is the leading cause of home fires and home fire injuries. Keep kids safe by staying in the kitchen while you are frying, boiling, grilling, or broiling food. Turn off the burner if you leave the kitchen! For more safety tips to share with the whole family please visit: https://bit.ly/33ADh5G

This school year has had many challenges due to Covid-19. Teachers are vital as they navigate how to help students adjust to distance learning and adapt to Covid-19 safety guidelines in their classrooms. Teachers are working as hard as they possibly can to make the best out of a tough situation. Teachers, Staff, Students and their Families need our support as they navigate these unprecedented circumstances. Please take the time to thank the Teacher in your life on World Teachers Appreciation Day.

I Met with Village of Hillsborough council member Jeff Land, and Steve Milburn for a tour of the New Brunswick Railway Museum. The New Brunswick Railway Museum is located in Hillsborough, NB, and is home to an extensive collection of railway artefacts. Several of the railway cars including: a caboose, coaches and locomotives are available to board and tour the interiors. Although attendance this year was affected by Covid-19, I look forward to a bright future for this grea...t museum. For more information visit their website at: http://www.nbrm.ca/
