OpenShot Video Editor is an application I have used from time to time to correct the orientation of videos taken with my digital camera. I is also usable for stop frame animations and general purpose video editing. https://www.openshot.org/

GIMP image editor is an excellent alternative to photoshop. Like photoshop, it is pretty complicated and is structured around a unique, multi-window approach so I recommend googling a tutorial on it if you want to give it a try. I've used it for image editing for years. https://www.gimp.org/

LibreOffice is an office suite useful for writing papers, giving presentations and editing spreadsheets, just like google docs or Microsoft Office. It is also compatible with Microsoft Office file formats. https://www.libreoffice.org/
