Southeast winds of 70 km/h... are predicted for the Greater Victoria area near Haro Strait, and exposed coastal sections of East Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast. A frontal system will cross Vancouver Island late this evening. Ahead of the front, strong southeasterly winds will develop over Haro Strait and the Strait of Georgia.
