Reminder #4: life isn’t a race, allow yourself to be happy in the present. Take the long way. We have the ability to enjoy our lives, but it can’t happen if we’re racing toward the future. If anything, I have learned so much from traveling with my wife, she always wants to take the back roads, the longer way and I always want to get to the end destination as quickly as possible.
