Full time lapse of our pool cabana pour. @pumpcrete_corp pumped 6 meters of concrete sitting on @technometalposthd P3 reinforced with 15m rebar. The slab was 4 thick with a 16 x 12 racked back on a 45 degree angle footing. Technical turns would be a monolithic slab. We set our drain 1 lower then our form hight and screed off the drain to create our slope. We ran a 4’ bull float to push and straighten out our screed work. Once the concrete set enough to smoothen out our slab we ran a 3’ Fresno finishing blade to make it look pretty. A lot goes into what seems to be a simple build. Mid pour of our pool cabana. We brought in @pumpcrete_corp to pump our concrete into this form. Couple people asked why we didn’t wheel barrel it or use the skid steer. Answer to that is this property was basically finished and couldn’t get a concrete truck close enough. For the cost of the pump truck it can be more cost affective other then having multiple labour hands making runs. This was also 6 meters of concrete in this slab/footing. I was using the @makita.ca concrete vibrator to settle the concrete around the rebar so we don’t have air pockets around the bar and form. Besides having the tree rain snow and ice chunks on us while pouring, everything went pretty decent with this slab!

Pretty sweet reclaimed barn board office we also built at the @bgcdurham for this renovation we did. Definitely had a blast building it !!!

Little throw back to a charity reno we were involved in at the @bgcdurham. We did a bunch of work throughout the facility but this spray job really stood out. Running my 490 @gracopaintsprayers and @sherwinwilliams dry fall with all the primary colours of their logo. It was a long night for me as I sprayed all the different colours but it was well worth it!!! Baeumler Approved

Do you even bend bro! Lol well I do now. This @metabohpt rebar bender is a pretty wicked tool for onsite custom bending and cutting. Bending 15mm rebar with ease. I was able to make all my bends and cuts with this beast for our pool cabana. I didn’t even go through one battery. I’m glad I had this on site and didn’t have to use the bucket of my skid steer to do all my bends. I know a lot of you can relate @toolaholic

The last window in the stone house!!! I am thankful it’s almost done century old house are definitely tricky to work in and always pose problems and you have to be creative to straighten and clean them up while renovating. If you have been following Kate Campbell you know !!! When it came to the windows and the old stone I had to be creative to produce crisp clean lines and if you saw the metal work I have been doing. I have gotten pretty close!!! It’s definitely been fun and time consuming to cap all these old windows sills and frames but man so they look good. Once fully completed I will post some after pics

@technometalposthd in action installing all 8 of our P3 helical piles for our pool cabana build. It’s always fun watching these go in and how easy that machine makes it look.
