Robert Dunne Salon June Update ... I hope this finds you healthy and well! We have missed seeing you and are excited to get back to the salon! We have made the salon a comfortable and safe enviornment for you. Our offical reopening is Monday June 29th. Wearing a mask will be required before you enter the salon, and must be be worn for the duration of your service. If you care about your personal mask, as it will get ruined with colour we are happy to provide you with a disposable mask. We will confirm with yoou upon your arrival that you are feeling healthy, no fever cough or difficulty breathing. Your temperature will be taken when you arrive for your appointment with a contactless infrared thermoeter. All staff will also be screened before we start our day. If you have a temperature or exhibitiing any symptoms, we will be happy to reschedule your appointment. The Salon door will be locked and there will be a sign out front of the salon asking you to remain outside until we unlock and open the door for you. Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment and PLEASE practice physical distanciing while waiting to enter. We have added extra time between clients to clean and sanitize our stations. PLEASE be patient if we are running a bit behind, as we are still figuring out the timing. We have hand sanitizer in touchless dispensers throught the salon and you must sanitize or wash your hands upon entering the salon. You will be given a plastic bag for your personal items. Your personal items must be placed inside the bag and tied. No space is availabel in our coat area right now. Please bring only what you need and leave non-essential personal items at home or in your car. Please only use your moible phone if necessary. Please come alone we Cannot accommodate any additional people at your appointment. Toronto Public Health is restricting salons to only clients with appointments. There is a 3.00 fee now included with your service for PPE. There may be additional fees for extra colour and/or colour correction work. Alison is happy to talk with you about your costs when you book and can update you when you arrive and she can see your hair. Gratuities must be given by the client directly to the stylist, either by cash, cheque or or e-transfer. No cash will be a available from the slaon. Please come with clean hair - no root cover up or products. We are trying to reduce the amount of shampooing only to remove colour. With thanks, Rob, Alison and Mike

ROBERT DUNNE SALON May 22, 2020 ... Hello, I hope this finds you healthy and well. It has now been 8 weeks since we temporarily closed the salon. But, rest assured, we've been keeping busy during this strange time so that we can welcome you back safely. As we all anxiously wait for the government to allow us to work, we are preparing the salon for the NEW NORMAL WHAT THE NEW NORMAL WILL LOOK LIKE I wish we had the answer. With everyday changing I wish we had that magic date. What I do know.... We are looking forward to having you back in the salon. With other provinces and salons globally reopening, we have been looking closely at other jurisdictions reopening protocols, mandates and regulations. We will follow all of Ontario’s guidelines as soon as they become available. And will update you with any new information we receive. We are prepared for your and our health and safety and have available masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and any other PPE that is required. Any client whose appointment was canceled due to COVID-19 will be the first to reschedule, followed by our most frequent clients. No online bookings will be available for the foreseeable future, please email or phone us once we know we are able to open to schedule. We'll let you know as soon as that happens.
