the smell of collodion and stinky fishes made for an interesting and rewarding day
what an image progression looks like, set-up to final
the lovely monster is ready for a test run thanks to gregory kenny's fine handiwork. notice how well i got it to fit on the century stand. some would call me macgyver : ) a few minor remaining details include; some final touches inside the plate holder, a lens cap, aluminum plates, larger silver nitrate and fix tanks, a bucket load of chemistry, a larger varnish drying rack and a really long lens for portraits. the one you see is for wide angle shots. believe it or not. the coolest part is the tambour door on the film plate holder. usually they have a dark slide.on this one you just roll the door up and down. so cool
