TBT Lots of things have changed since this was published 28 years ago. Fashions have come and gone and some have come back again. We lost Betty, Margaret, Mary, and Vicki has retired. We have had some amazing staff come and go over the years, but we are still blessed with Kendra, Karen, Susan, Kathy, Cathy, Grace, Marilyn, Jeltje and Helen. The one thing that hasn't changed is our service and commitment to our customers. We still offer all the same services with sincere individual attention to keep our customers looking and feeling their very best.

If Barbie were a real woman with her proportions scaled into life size, she would be 7'2"; her waist would be 19" making that the same circumference as her head, meaning she'd have room for only half a liver and a few inches of intestines as opposed to the usual 26 feet of them; her neck would be twice as long as the average, making it impossible to hold up her head; her bust would be 39"(FF cup) while her feet would be a size 5, thus she would have to walk on all fours because her disproportionately small feet would force her disproportionately large chest to pull her forward to the ground. Please make sure coats and boots are clean and in good condition, free or rips / holes. Warmth is essential. You can purchase tickets from any Kiwanis member, Young's Pharmacy, Lesser Jewellers, or by sending us a message on Facebook or Instagram! TBT. Came across this picture of one of our favourite people. Our store was opened in 1947 and, as far as we know, has always had an in-house seamstress. In all that time (73 years) there has only been a handful of ladies that have filled that position. Lil Hagar was one of the originals, then Mary Hayes, pictured here. When Mary retired her daughter, Susan, took over. She is still our seamstress. We like to keep it in the family here and we are so glad that our family includes all of you, our valued clients.
