Great news for renters!

Another favourite REALTOR moment today: Got to give a longtime client keys to her new home. We scooped this one when we had gone to view another that ended u...p not being "the one". I noticed another lockbox on the railing in the complex, even though the other unit was the only one listed there. By fluke, a woman walked out of another unit as we were leaving. I asked her if she knew anything about it. Turns out it was from when her home was previously on the market and the agent hadn't picked up the box yet. "Would we like to come in and have a look?" Why, yes, yes we would! Quick chat with my client, short negotiation with seller, written offer in place a few hours later on a home we didn't even know existed. Moral of the story: It never hurts to ask! Huge congrats to J on her great new home. PS Yes, that is part of her nice tequila thank you pack and no, she is not actually chugging it! See more

One of my favourite REALTOR moments just happened. It's not every day a super nice guy gets to buy the home his grandparents once owned and in which he grew u...p to now raise his own son. The story writes itself even more when the date I randomly threw out for closing happens to be her birthday! All meant to be and I couldn't be happier for K, L, and M on the next chapter of their lives! See more
