Collingwood Council will hold its next meeting March 27 at 5 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Georgian Bay Hotel (formerly Georgian Man...or Resort) to accommodate those interested in the debate over a motion regarding the new hospital. The motion asks council to direct town staff to "commence the process to consider revisions to the town’s official plan and zoning by-laws to include hospitals and other related medical uses as may be necessary to support the redevelopment of the hospital on their preferred greenfield site" (Poplar Sideroad).
