RVMF 2022 ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT!! We are thrilled to bring KIMMORTAL to Robson Valley <3 Kimmortal is a queer non-binary filipinx artist and rapper known for their powerful stage presence and multi-dimensional approach to music. Based in Vancouver, BC on the unceded Coast Salish territories, Kimmortal's alt-rap/soul electronic album X marks the Swirl incorporates spoken word, rap, and field recordings of water that Kim created over a five year process. The album was longliste...d for a Polaris, recognized as top 19 albums of 2019 via CBC, and nominated in the 2020 "Hip Hop and Rap" category of Breakout West Music Awards. Kimmortal has opened for some of their favourite artists including Shad K, Ruby Ibarra, Saba, Bif Naked, Saul Williams, and Gabriel Teodros. RVMF 2022 ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT! <3 <3 <3 Turn up your inner Freq* with Award-nominated Haida loop-poet, interdisciplinary artist & producer Ms.PAN!K. Experimental loop-pedal-driven soundscapes merge and mix vocal elements, traditional drum, guitar and percussion all overlaid with poignant lyrics to satiate and meditate on. Haida wisdom is woven with multiple genres as she explores live PA and production; weaving indie and folk roots with elements of hip hop, spoken word, and ...indie Indigenous soul. 2019 Western Canadian Music Award Nominee for Spiritual Artist of the Year. Ms.PAN!K is a hands-on indie artist & entrepreneur. Bell Media Prize winner in 2018, Ms.PAN!K was chosen to attend Canada's Music Incubator Artist Entrepreneur Program learning the behind-the-scenes of the Canadian Music Industry. PAN!K has headlined many festival stages across BC; and she had shared stages with Ferron, SNRK, Irish Mythen, Old Soul Rebel, Kimmortal, The Della Kit (FKA. Some exciting news!! The TINY BUT MIGHTY SCHOOLHOUSE SESSIONS are nearly ready for release <3. These videos turned out so magnificent, beautiful and sound unbelievable! We are so grateful to the artists, Sigma 6x Productions, and the support from Canada Council, BC Gaming, and BC Arts Council for funding this project. These 20 minute concerts by B.C. artists such as Sarah Wheeler, Old Soul Rebel, Dream Heavy, Don Alder, Amy Blanding and Harlequin Gold will be released one per day starting on December 1st.... Stay tuned!! <3

We have been a little quiet over here at RVMF the past couple months.. BUT.. We have some exciting things to share with you on the horizon! Last week we tried out a new concert series called "TINY BUT MIGHTY SCHOOLHOUSE SESSIONS" The idea was to have 6 artists from BC who would have performed at 2020 RVMF to play a 20 minute set at our Dunster Schoolhouse with a teeny tiny live audience. There was an audience of 14 -16 people each night and artists were filmed by a professi...onal audio and visual crew 6x Sigma, who will edit these beautiful and intimate performances into a sweet little package we will start to release for you all to enjoy in mid October. Artists included Sarah Wheeler, Old Soul Rebel, Dream Heavy, Don Alder, Amy Blanding and Harlequin Gold.
