In 2021, the annual contribution limit for a Tax Free Savings Account (TFSA) is $6,000. Someone who was at least 18 in 2009, has been resident in Canada consistently through that time, and who has never contributed can contribute up to $75,500. The funds deposited can be invested, without any tax implications on growth, income or when withdrawn The only stipulation is if you withdraw funds from the TFSA you must wait until the next calendar year to replace the amount withdrawn.
