Is showing more skin getting the body positivity message across clearer?! I recently had someone ask me this question. I love being challenged in this way because it gets the conversation going. To me, it isn’t about showing more skin or wearing less clothing. ... To me, it’s showing what society deems as imperfections that’s important. I can guarantee there are women out there right now looking at this photo and getting uncomfortable. Uncomfortable because there is cellulite showing, back rolls and not the perfect hourglass figure. Projecting what they feel is uncomfortable onto an image of someone comfortable in her naked body. The goal is to make people uncomfortable so we can all get to a place where we’re comfortable with it. So that when a fat woman wears a bikini, it is as normal as a thin/fit person. So that we aren’t continually bombarded with hate comments. Do I think the world is ready for imperfect, empowered babes?! Nope. But here we come!! : @summerdelightphotography See more
