It's fence season!

And so it begins... Great progress today! Thanks to Chistine for being my right hand gal and Adam for a tasty lunch =)

Another few rooms under the belt. Taken in Brantford and completed today, laminate install and baseboard reinstallation. Carpets only last so long, consider making the move to hardwood or laminate =)

Careful on those devil carpets!

The completed project =) 650sq ft of laminate to replace the old carpet. Replacing carpet could be right for you! Do you or your family members suffer from allergies to dust or dander? These get trapped in the fibres of the carpets, and vacuuming doesn't help to pull it all out. Hardwood or laminate will modernize, and help reduce the built up dust in your home.

Before pics of the last floor I laid. 650sq ft in an older farm house. The carpets had already been removed at this time, after giving more than 20 years of faithful service. When were your carpets last replaced?

Throwback to a hardwood floor I installed a few months ago. The boards were 5/8th of an inch thick and needed to be stapled down, as well as glued. The process takes longer, requires a more gentle hand, but the benefits are worth it. A floor that doesn't squeak is worth the time.

Scribing was needed to get closer to the jutting out fireplace stones. Last pics from the most recently completed project, the lower living room.

A newly renovated bathroom! Starting with raising up the floor with underlay to level it with the laminate flooring in the adjoining hallway. Laying interlocking water proof vinyl tiles came next =)
