Hi We hope everyone is keeping their sanity at home. If you must venture out to the grocery store for your needed essentials, we would like to ask that you refrain from putting your groceries onto the belt until the customer in front of you is done checking out. We have asked our cashiers to clean the tills and debit machines after each transaction.... This may cause some delays. Thank you. Be kind. Stay safe.

Please have ONE member of your household do the shopping. This is especially important to remember for the upcoming weekend. During the COVID-19 crisis and with the rules set in place by the NWT government, the grocery store isnt a place to get out and socialize or to bring the family for a change of scenery. Its for essential needs only. We have a capacity of 88 customers allowed in store to help us ensure social distancing. We dont count one household entering the stor...e, we count everyone who enters, including children. We dont want people to have to wait outside any longer than they have to if we reach max occupancy. Every second till is closed so this can also mean a wait in line, which can cause crowding if there is a group of you. So please leave your spouse in the car or at home. Leave your children at home if you are ABLE to do so.

When youre in shopping or when ordering on PC Express, its worth considering picking up some of your Easter essentials now. Please shop responsibly for just your household as gatherings are not recommended right now. ... And remember we are closed on Easter Sunday so our staff can take a well deserved break.

Some friendly reminders... The store closes at 8pm. Our cashiers are only scheduled till 8:15pm because they need to deep clean their tills and they shouldnt have to stay longer than their scheduled shift. -Please dont plan a massive grocery shop at 7:45pm. ... -Please use the PC Express service if you cant make it between the hours of 8AM-8PM -Please shop one member per household (if possible) as our store capacity is at 88. -Please maintain 6ft of distance between yourselves and our staff. -Please shop if its essential There are reasons that the NWT government has these processes in place, its why you cant go to your favorite restaurant or to the movies right now. Its just one case in Yellowknife doesnt mean we can relax these measures. Its about prevention. Thank you. Stay safe.

Good morning everyone, For employee and customer safety, we are no longer allowing reusable bags/green bins into the store. The plastic bags are provided without a cost.... Understandably there are concerns for the environment but this is a temporary measure we need to implement in order to protect the people working hard to serve you. We will do our best to have as many boxes saved for the front, but another option is to leave your reusable bags in your car and pack your groceries outside. For those who may ask why, we dont know where the bags have been outside of this store or who they have been in contact with. And how often do you wash these grocery bags? Even if you do, we simply cannot police every customer to make sure their bags are cleaned. Thank you for understanding.

We just want to say thank you to the people that have dropped off homemade goodies, Tim Bits, pizza and coffee for the staff over the past few weeks. (We would get a picture of them but the food disappears quite quickly. ) These kind gestures have been appreciated by all.
