We are proud to announce that Rock Bar Construction has obtained a spot as one of the Top 10 Finalists of the FirstOntario 1Awards. A competition that recognizes entrepreneurs in the Southern Ontario Region. As a local business, that supports our community, we want to be able to reach out to not just our own, but to all communities. Being able to detect when a sewer back-up will occur is very important to home owners. Our patented device will be able to provide a fore-warning... when a back-up or possible flood develops. This sensor, that is attached to the backwater valve, monitors and is capable of collecting data for the city; thus allowing them to create preventative measures to minimize future issues. This is very useful for smart cities being able to allocate their funding towards certain neighbourhoods where is most appropriate. It's getting to be that time of year again! Thank you to Rock Bar Construction for kicking off the first of many days at our Crew-Goetz Landing Build site. This... site will be the location of 18 town homes for our partnership families, and will offer homes under our new innovative model. This project is the most ambitious build in our affiliate's history, and it will change the way we think about affordable housing, not just in Burlington, but across the province.
