Puppies at 9 weeks, just before going home! Rainbow is our show pick and will be staying for a bit before going to her Guardian home. I love this litter! Every puppy has an outstanding, confident, sweet temperament. They met every challenge and new experience with confidence, were exceptionally easy to train, very easy keepers. I will miss them! Many thanks to Mariz Tremblay from Nicheca Standard Poodles for letting me use Travis, he gave me what I was looking for, beautiful puppies with outstanding temperaments. A wonderful pairing!

Quick update from my phone. Pictures to follow shortly along with a lengthier post.

Album is updated with new photos. Sorry for not updating often. Computer is still with Dell and not expected back for another 3 weeks. Puppies are doing excellent, meeting all milestones right on time. Eyes opened between 10-13 days, potty training started, barking and growling, playing, moving around well, introduced to gruel, pen expanded, toys and beds added. Puppies are all gaining weight well. They are now enjoying their human play time and actively seek out attention. I love this time with them! Visits will start this weekend!

Feeling quite frustrated and angry! My new and very expensive Dell laptop, not even 3 months, and only used for 2 weeks due to my sprained wrist, is a brick! Will not take a charge at all. Additionally, the bezel is separating from the frame around the screen. It's going back for repairs tomorrow and apparently I will have it back in 4 or 5 days. I bought the extended warranty and accidental as well, and no option for a refund apparently. So unfortunately there will be no picture updates for the time being, and I have no contact info for puppy owners. Note to self, do more frequent backups! My apologies, will post a ton of pictures when I get it back.

Day 4 and 5 pictures added to Travis x Surrey Album. All puppies are doing well, nursing pretty much around the clock. Surrey is still staying in the whelping room full time. Will have to get a video of their little tails wagging like crazy when they nurse.

Surrey is all done and having a well earned rest. We have 5 white puppies, 2 females and 3 males. 2 black puppies, 1 male and 1 female. I'm going to have a nap too, as Surrey was restless and needing reassurance overnight. Pictures and updates later.

Kas x Surrey litter 10 weeks tomorrow. The two cream/white males are still available. We were going to hold on to Tinkerbell for a while longer(purple collar girl) as she was considerably smaller than the rest of the litter. This week she has had a huge growth spurt though and is not quite so itty bitty! Surrey has regained her girlish figure and her hormones have settled down, she is ready for playtime with her younger brother Logan. So much fun seeing the big dogs out enjoying the weather and having all of them outside together!

Sorry for the long wait for pictures! Two litters is a lot of work, lol, more than anticipated! Truffle's litter are doing well, eating well on their own with only the rare snack from mom. They are outside daily, learning to potty on the grass, do stairs, hear cars and play with the other dogs. Their personalities are beginning to be clear, and they are growing like weeds. Their pictures are a week old at 5 weeks. Surrey's litter is going through that fun stage where they are changing and learning every day. They have been started on mush, are exploring their environment, and actively asking for attention. They are bigger now than in the pictures.. There are a lot of pictures, 4 posts worth, lol! The older ones are Truffle puppies, the younger are Surrey's. I'd fallen behind in posting after returning to work.

Truffle's puppies are huge! We have expanded the puppy pen yet again! The crate was introduced today, and their gruel included some raw hamburger. We will be upping their meals now that their tummies have adjusted. They are rapidly approaching my favorite time, puppy wrestling matches, being swarmed when we sit with them for cuddles, starting to play with toys. They do still sleep more than they are awake. Teeth have started coming in, and Truffle is nursing standing up whenever possible. She remains a patient and tolerant mom, but I think over the next week as those sharp little teeth lead to nipping, she'll start teaching them some manners. Puppies had their first visitors yesterday, love the happy smiles! We're thinking those scruffly faces are soon due for their first clip!

Surrey x Kas picture and update -

Surrey's puppies are growing nicely. The tiny puppies have tripled their weight, but of course still weigh less than their bigger siblings. First nail trims were today, thank you Paul! They will be 2 weeks on Tuesday. Surrey is still not keen on cleaning up their poop, but she is making a better effort, lol! It's hard to believe Truffle's puppies (next post) nursing were once this size!

Surrey's litter - Almost all of the puppies have doubled their birth weight, including our little wee 5 oz girl. Sadly, her little brother did not thrive and we chose to let him go, rather than prolong his suffering. Surrey is an attentive mom, rarely leaving the whelping room, and sleeping happily on her back in the whelping box with the puppies. She is not fond of puppy poop, but we are hoping she'll get better, lol. For the time being, Paul and I are doing poop duty for her. Her milk is plentiful and puppies are eating well on their own without being supplemented. White puppies have pigment coming in, a new experience for us. They are definitely growing on us.

Truffle's litter. Puppies are doing very well, and Truffle continues to be a wonderful mom! She loves being out in the dining room, and doesn't mind the other adults coming to visit. Puppies had some yummy homemade formula from a puppy dish today, they devoured it! Gruel will start tomorrow. Lots of vocalizations, and mock play. They love their cuddle time! They are growing faster than we can keep track! New bigger pen has been moved to the dining room, and pee pads have been (successfully) introduced, pretty proud of these smart babies at just over 3 weeks old!

Truffle litter update: puppies have moved to new digs in the living room, and will be moved to dining room and larger pen on Sunday. They are all chunky, gaining well, toddling about, barking, eyes are open. They love to cuddle and will pile all over me when I sit in the pen. Truffle is holding up well, eating like a horse to keep up with the demand for milk. She is a calm mom, doesn't mind the other dogs stopping by for a peek into the pen (they are still separated by ex-pen though). She had a nice bath and groom to freshen her up too!

Some big news! Surrey surprised us by having her puppies a little earlier than expected. In the wee hours of Tuesday morning she delivered 10 puppies in rapid succession! We got the surprise of our lives with our first ever white puppies added to the mix. Sexes were 8 boys, 2 girls (the two whites are boys). Weights were a little lower than we'd have liked, so some special attention has been made to ensure all were thriving. Sadly, one boy is not doing well, despite us tube f...eeding around the clock, every 2 hours since 5 am Tuesday morning. He will have a vet appointment tomorrow, but the prognosis is not good. This is the reason we are so late in posting our litter announcement, we've worked incredibly hard to save this boy. A very special thank you to my wonderful and supportive husband, who took 3 days off work to help, learned how to tube feed, and allowed me to get some periods of rest. This has been a challenge for me with a 3rd degree burn on my right hand, and my first non-thriving puppy. We have a very full belly! Surrey's xray confirms at least 8-9 puppies! Let's guess number and sexes!

Quick update on Truffle and puppies before bed. We got off to a rough start, with Truffle needing calcium every 4 hours, and with some of the smaller puppies needing to be supplemented to keep up with the other's at the milk bar, and of course with Paul and I being sick all this was harder. Things are getting back on track now, Truffle is being a wonderful mom and an excellent house guest, smaller puppies are experts at using the bottle, and our cold is on it's way out. Puppies are beginning to move around more, the drunken sailor walk, will try to catch video tomorrow.

Day 4, 5, 6 - Puppies are doing well, most are near or over the 1 lb mark. They are starting to show some personality. Truffle is needing some calcium supplementation, so I'm a bit sleep deprived dosing her every 4 hours around the clock. To make matters worse, both Paul and I have come down with a horrible cold and we're feeling pretty miserable. Puppy snuggles does make us smile though - so here's some absolutely adorable puppy piles!

Day 3 - Kas x Truffle litter: Big day today, tails were done! Puppies handled it beautifully, Truffle was not happy to be outside for the duration but she was none the wiser when she came in, Paul did great as assistant, and I'm glad it's done, lol!

Day 2 - Puppies are all doing well. Truffle is doing a wonderful job. We have a couple of bossy puppies who like to vocalize on their way to the milk bar, so sleep for me was on and off, lol! Very small weight loss in a few puppies as is expected, one gained weight, a few stayed the same. Here are some photos of our puppy pile while momma was having a potty break, and I tidied whelping box. Truffle x Kas (Brienwoods Italian Prince) litter co-bred with White Dove Poodles.

So at 9 puppies, I think we are finished. Tidied up the whelping pen, fed Truffle a full meal, she ate every bite. She is resting comfortably, babies are nursing madly. Everyone is doing fine, if a bit tired. Weights were bigger than I'd expected with the smallest and first born boy being the lightest at 11.3 oz, and the biggest the third born boy being a whopping 1 lb! We are letting Truffle rest quietly with the wonderful puppy cam on full time, it even has sound so we can talk to her and hear the puppies, I just love it! I'll be sleeping with her (or not sleeping, lol) for the next week to keep an eye on things at night. We have 6 boys and 3 girls! Some pictures of puppies a few hours old.

Truffle has decided to celebrate National Puppy Day! We have 5 males and 3 females so far, a couple more to go! Pictures to come when we're all done!

Truffle is starting to show! I've been visiting her once a week and this week marks the most noticeable difference! Any guesses on number of puppies, lol!

Beautiful 10 week old female standard poodle puppy available. She is well on her way to being crate and house trained. Well socialized with children and other dogs. Confident puppy, but calm, very well behaved in the house when given sufficient exercise and time to play. His first weekend out as a baby puppy he went BbabyPIS! We are so proud of this boy! Logan is out of Tchekov (Ch. Marubi's Tikal de Nicheca) x Tyra (Ch. Signet Sweet Tyranny).

It's been a crazy, busy and very hot summer! Logan "Rockhaven Believe in Dreams" made his debut in the ring, winning Best Baby Puppy in Show his first weekend out! And today we received some very happy news, Surrey "BPIS, BPISS Can.CH. Rockhaven Inherit from Signet" is expecting puppies! Sire is CKC Ch. UKC RBIS GrCh Brienwoods Italian Prince NC NI PTA. This is our first litter bred using VGL testing. Puppies due Sept. 10. We currently have several places left on our waiting list.

Our keeper "Logan" at 13 wks! He is the most clownish poodle we've ever had, makes us laugh everyday! He keeps all the older dogs on their toes too.

Week 5 milestones. Toys are much more interesting, being out in the snow can be fun, paper training is coming along nicely, and Tyra arbitrarily weaned the puppies so they are all eating kibble/raw 4 times a day now. Puppies have had their second bath, and are due for another FFT trim. I've been sick all week, but am beginning to feel somewhat better. Will try to get some better outdoor pictures this week, had the wrong lens on the camera.
