FundScrip Christmas Order Our next order is due Sunday, Nov. 29th (return date Dec. 6th) and can be found on our website http://www.rockinghamunited.org/fundscript/Fundscript.htm . Here are a few suggestions to keep in mind for your Christmas order: 1. Gift cards to stores or restaurants make great Christmas gifts and are easy to mail! 2. If you prefer to give actual gifts, why not purchase gift cards for yourself and use them to purchase Christmas gifts for your family?... 3. You may purchase gift cards for yourself for buying gift wrapping supplies, decorations or groceries or to use to go out to a restaurant over the holidays! 4. You may wish to purchase gift cards to give to organizations that you support at Christmas. 5. You might like to purchase a few extra gift cards to have on hand for last minute gifts or invitations or for gifts you may forget! If you are willing to e-transfer the funds to Sylvia, please email (scan the order form or type the details in the text of the email) or send your order to Lynn at [email protected] or Beth at the [email protected] . If you prefer to write a cheque, please place an envelope with your order and cheque in the clean container marked FundScrip in the Sanctuary when you come to church this Sunday or next Sunday. If you're not yet attending church, please contact one of us to make arrangements to drop your order and cheque in Lynn or Beth's mailbox. If you're not able to do that, we'll make arrangements for Beth to safely pick up your order. With COVID restrictions we are not permitted to place order forms in the Narthex, but If you can't print the order form, Beth will safely deliver one to you or you may phone or email the details of your order.

Charlie Murphy RUC Memorial Christmas Tree This campaign is set to go again this year, but, due to Covid-19 things will be handled a bit differently. The tree will be trimmed and set to be dedicated on the afternoon of December 13th. Watch the weekly email from the church office for more details. Ordering your ornaments will be easy. Advent Calendar ideas: Remember those advent calendars with the little chocolate squares hidden inside? You may already have a version of this in mind for your kids, but try this for yourself: The Outreach Committee invites you to start a Gratitude Calendar. Every day in December do these 2 things: 1) Write down two things you are grateful for ... 2) Call, text, or email one person you love, appreciate, respect or admire. At the start of 2021, you will have pages full of reasons to start the new year with a sense of abundance and you will have made 31 people smile. With Covid increasing, we know the Food Banks will be looking for everyone’s support to fill their shelves. The attached Reverse Advent Calendar could be a good way to get your family involved in supporting a Local Food Bank. If needed, the Outreach Committee would pick up your items and deliver them to Feed Nova Scotia. Contact Terri Billard to arrange pick up. Items could also be dropped off at the church. Please call the church first to ensure that there is someone there. We are hoping to deliver the items by Dec 18th.
