Gym equipment sale in support of IMPACT Parkinson's Centre

ANNOUNCEMENT: It is with heavy heart to announce that IMPACT Parkinson’s Centre is closing it's doors. We are extremely grateful for the support and community love we have received, especially from our wonderful clients, assistant coaches and instructors, volunteers, community partners and the City of New Westminster. This decision did not come easily. Due to circumstances related to Covid-19, we did not make it through to the other side. Being closed since March 16, and the ...fact that we are a small, volunteer based Centre that serves a high risk population, the financial situation does not allow us to keep operating the Centre. Now here's some GREAT news! Although the Centre might not be around IMPACT Parkinson’s Society will still be alive and well! We will continue to offer our unique programs, workshops and events, whether they be online or in-person in the future, and continue to fundraise and support Parkinson's in general. Our virtual programs currently running are Rock Steady Boxing with Robyn, Yoga for PD and Let's Talk Loud Group Voice Therapy. Fighters - although we work on voice in our classes I recommend that all of you get voice therapy with a Speech Language Pathologist. 80% to 100% of people with a Parkinson’s diagnosis will develop some level of voice and swallowing challenges.
