Let us reintroduce ourselves! We are RUCKUS now a five piece Cover Band! One of the Kootenay's most popular dance/party band. We have added a keyboard player to our mix opening RUCKUS up to a whole new adventure of diversity that we can't wait to share with you all. Lead singer Loretta Sheriff, with a background in Musical Theater, has been with RUCKUS since 2010. Her distinctive voice feeds her vocal range that brings versatility to RUCKUS. Blessed with growing up listening... to various kinds of music helped lead her to doing what she loves to do the most and that is sing. Rob Taylor, the founder of RUCKUS, is a veteran of the music scene. Playing drums since an early age and gigging since the age of 15 Rob keeps the beat going and locking in the groove. Adopting the ideals of let's play what the people want to hear. Warren Holoboff plays bass because it feeds his soul. A true musician, Warren has been around for a while playing with different bands and musicians from around these parts. He has a lot of experience and lays down a mean groove. Our guitar master is Darren Mahe. Darren's knowledge and dedication to his craft is significant. He's played all over and has shared the stage with Trooper, Headpins, Great White and many more. With over 40 years experience his professionalism is evident. Hello to our newest band member Ain Baird on keys and BG vocals. Ain's Dad worked at Motown Records and the legacy of rockin' the black and whites lives on. Soulful classics and edgy new sounds. Ready to play it right and RUCKUS. Taking pride in performing all your favorites songs, with a RUCKUS twist, while at the same time putting on an exciting and interactive show. Our song list is extensive and diverse covering tunes from Amy Winehouse to Ozzy. RUCKUS is perfect for any venue, bar, corporate event or wedding.
