IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT COVID-19 Due to the coronavirus outbreak and the resulting Covid-19 pandemic, the Alberta Dental Association and College has instructed all dental offices in the province to postpone all non-essential dental treatment. Our office remains open for emergency procedures only. As a specialty endodontic office, we limit our practice to endodontics (root canal related treatment), endodontic surgery, and managing dental and oro-facial pain. We have mad...e some staff changes during this unprecedented time, but our receptionist, Breanne, remains at the front desk answering the phones to answer any questions you might have. Dr. Jensen is also available to do any emergency or urgent treatment. He is also always available to be reached after normal business hours at (587)220-7541. Our office maintains strict infection control policies which meet or exceed the required standards by the Alberta Dental Association and College. We use appropriate personal protective gear, including masks, gowns, face shields, gloves, and other barriers. We use hospital grade disinfectants and practice the latest sterilization protocols. Our sterilization equipment is new and modern, and very closely monitored with the required documentation. Dental dams are ALWAYS used for endodontic treatment. The isolated tooth and dental dam field are disinfected with ethyl alcohol and/or sodium hypchlorite prior to treatment. If you need to come to our office during this difficult time, please ensure that you do not have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, or Flu-like symptoms. You will also not be treated if you have had close personal contact with a suspected or lab confirmed COVID-19 patient within the past 2 weeks, or have international travel history in the past 2 weeks. We want to ensure everyone's health and safety. Our goal is to limit the spread of this illness as much as possible, and we are doing all we can to follow guidelines and necessary precautions. We also recognize that dental emergencies do happen, and tooth pain can be very debilitating. We will do what we can to treat emergency dental pain, and limit the spread of the COVID-19 illness.
