Our new friends/evac-vacation family. Not everyone could make the bbq, but we sure had a great time last evening. The fire is contained and Red Lake is re-ope...ning. So glad we got to meet these tremendous people. Makes ya realize with all the crazy stuff happening throughout the world, great people exist and are willing to do whatever it takes to help out. We got a lot of repairs done from the storm and I couldn't be more happy to meet such a great group of people. For a brief time Steve and I felt like RSL was back to normal business...minus the fishing. We will miss our new friends and look forward to seeing many of them in the future! It feels like a Thursday today. Gonna miss you all til next time we meet up! See more

Good afternoon RSL family, friends, and guests. The communities up here are really putting their best foot forward and assisting all the displaced families up ...here. We received care packages from Sysco, the Lions Club, and the Legion. Thanks Tim (Lions Club) for helping lend a hand. Steve and Jeremiah from Manotak were super helpful and brought down the care packages and delivered them to us. Such a great community here its hard for me to find the words to describe the generous support. Oh and Tim's wife (I don't know her name) made baked goods and I have to admit I had one of the Zucchini Chocolate chip muffins, and it was Awesome! See more

Well friends and family. The other shoe has finally dropped on the 2020 season. We have gone into the reservation book and crossed out 2020 and added 2021.
