Wanted to share this post for 2 reasons: 1) The bad - my hip flexors don't usually look like this. This is the effect of sitting on a plane and at airports for many consecutive hours. Imagine if I had a desk job! 2) The good - I mobilized for 20 minutes and tried this fun little test to see where my hips are at. Not bad. I will post another update in a few days, because I'm attacking this daily. Try it out and tag me! Are your hip flexors tight, too? Did your glutes cramped up? Shoe keeps on falling off? I don't often use cupping, but when I do, I make you move! That's why I use silicone cups, because it can be applied to moving parts and it will have no issues maintaining the negative pressure. Try it out!

I always have the hardest time kicking away jet lag. Two weeks since I came back to Toronto and I have just started to get back into my routine. Even made it to the gym for a few hours of training! . . Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to try a float session @floatmississauga. Gotta admit, it was difficult for me to relax and let go. Eventually, I did and fell into a slumber. Woke up super mellow and chill. Will definitely try again! **Note** the light inside the pod can be turned off. I just had it on to take this photo. Night lapse at 15 seconds with the GoPro.

The magic is in the dosage, people! . I have had clients tell me that they do their exercises first thing in the morning, because it only takes "less than 5 minutes." Well, what about the rest of the day during the most posturally stressful times? Let's develop the capacity to recognize the positions or sub optimal movement patterns we get into that might be causing our bodies to hurt and learn strategies to minimize their negative effects. Execute these strategies right there and then! Forget the 3 sets of 10! Get it done whenever you have time!

#Throwback to when I ran a half marathon on a Saturday and a full marathon on a Sunday. #sosore #goofy . It's race weekend @DisneyWorld. Wishing I was there right now. Good luck to all the runners! If you are looking to run your first marathon, I highly suggest running it in the happiest place on Earth!
December was REALLY busy!! It seems like 50% of the people only remember to use their benefits in the last month of the year. That means you're not taking care of yourself enough. Be more #PROACTIVE, if you don't have a pressing issue to get worked on, space out your treatments throughout the year! #truth #preach
There are benefits to getting a massage treatment after a hard workout. Unfortunately, getting rid of lactic acid "faster" is NOT one of them. This is a myth that a lot of misinformed therapists still preach. If you ever hear this, point them to this video or give them a backhand .
