Get to know... my cookies! . This is how I started, as a little girl baking with my mom and this is the recipe I use today. The only thing different is I weight all ingredients and changed up the decorating style...just a bit lol! . These are shortbread cookies, so lots of buttery goodness and they remain fresh stored at room temperature in a container for 3 months. Also I decorate with royal icing. Since March all cookies are now individually wrapped and sealed for safe gift... giving and serving. . This picture right here means the world to me! These are cookies my mom made last December right before she fell and broke her hip. I told her in the hospital she needed to hurry up and get better since I needed a photo of her cookies - good reason right! Well she did and when she got home she asked my dad to take a picture. The 1st photo he took did not get her approval since it was 'not nice for the internet' and made him redo it, and voila! .
