Getting back to work after the Holidays is always difficult, though we are happy and feel lucky to be working! Daisy, our awesome office dog, is struggling more then most to the new pace!

Pretty exciting day as we welcome a new member to the team. We have a close knit group, and personality, enthusiasm and a passion for their chosen craft is a key requirement. Nate Jeff brings all of those attributes, as well as a proven ability to solve problems, and leverage technology to build useful web based tools. We're are all super excited to welcome him to the fold!!

This past weekend people in Nova Scotia were stunned by the senseless tragedy of random killings across our province. Our hearts go out to all of those affected, not only the friends, families and loved ones of those who were killed, but all of those people who were impacted, worried as a killer roamed their communities. I’d like to voice a special thanks to all the members of the RCMP, Halifax Regional Police, and all of the first responders who so selflessly ran into harm’...s way to protect the rest of us. I’ve had the privilege of working closely with the men and women of law enforcement, and always appreciate their service, sacrifice and selflessness. Please don’t forget that while most of us were either hiding in our homes, or watching from a distance thankful we weren’t involved, a number of these brave people were running into danger to protect the rest of us. One of the most diabolical parts of this tragedy is that the killer impersonated the very people everyone would run to for help They have an often thankless job, stuck between the general population and the politicians and justice system above, trying to do their best to keep our homes and communities safe. Maybe remember these days when you see a police car, fire engine, ambulance or other first responder pass by, tip your hat, smile and wave, and try to do something a little nice to let them know that we recognize and appreciate their service and sacrifice. #novascotiastrong
