Check out the number of connections our technicians had to complete in this rewind! The coils used in this motor rewind came all the way from the UK! For this rebuild we used world leading Houghton International’s HiFLEX Coils. These top-quality hot press coils are covered with an anti corona protective tape and an additional layer of moisture resistant tape. Partial discharge of these coils is kept to less than 300 picocoulomb, which extends the life of the coils and the mo...tor. There’s also no need for Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) after rewind when using these coils. Check out the photos taken during the process. Did you know that we are capable of testing motors up to 4,160 volts? Testing of the electric motors we service is of critical importance. In the first picture we are preparing the motor for the running lite test at rated voltage.... The preparation process for the test includes seating of the brushes, plumbing of the radiators with water lines for cooling, shimming of the feet and electrical connection of the motor. Needless to say, safety is very important within this area of our shop!

Would you look at that! We are breaking ground on our expansion to our facility in Wabush. This new addition will add just over 6,000 sq/ft to our Western Labrador shop. Within this additional space, we will be increasing the capacity of the services we provide in Labrador to better serve the local community and organizations that count on Rogers Electric. Our Wabush facility will be equipped to handle any motor in the region.... The facility will also get two new 10-ton cranes, a large sandblasting system and a large paint booth. More to come...

We recently had the great pleasure of setting up the award-winning microbrewery Four Rivers Brewing Co. located in Northern N. B. with a new Kaeser AirCenter SM7.5.
