Requiem sessions : End of life pet photography Requiem: An act or token of remembrance. Our pets provide us with so much in their lives. They are always there for us; to comfort us, to play with us and to entertain us with their unique quirks and personality. Saying goodbye to a terminally ill or senior pet is one of the hardest things to do. When we can, we give them one last amazing day - cuddles on the couch, a car ride, cheeseburgers, a new toy - before we help them have... a loving and dignified end. For terminally ill or elderly pets, I offer a special session dedicated to celebrating their life and love. Requiem sessions honour and celebrate the relationship between you and your pet, doing the things you love most. These sessions will provide you with tangible memories of their personality, face, paws, nose, eyelashes and, most importantly, the way they look at you. The photographs will be something you can cherish, long after those details fade from your memory. Requiem Sessions are often scheduled at short notice but scheduling them as soon as you feel your pet's time is near will ensure availability and a more enjoyable session for your pet. These are for and about the pets in need and their families, and they are very dear to my heart, they are the perfect way to remember your pet, or to gift to a loved one. I was in my element with all this cool dog sport equipment and amazing dogs, driving out a few times to Maidstone was absolutely worth it!

I was able to get together with Colas family. This 16 year old boy was the recipient of my Requiem Session giveaway! Here is what his owner had to say "Cola come into our lives this aggressive strong willed little brindle furry bundle. He learned quick, over these years Cola has given us all so many laughs and in his mind he is the boss! Cola hates car rides but if the destinations are going camping to the lake then is doesn’t mind the stress of getting there. One of his... favourite places to be is in a lawn chair in front of the campfire or in a boat enjoying the lake and some fishing. Now that he Is elder he loves the couch has his spot always must have a pillow and a blanket, snuggles up and sleepy time it is ! He is the treat king. Makes sure he doesn’t miss a meal and makes it known if your late giving him breakfast or dinner. Most of all he loves the security of his family and his brothers. We know one day Cola will have to leave us , time is never known but we all cherish everyday with him. I know this doesn't involve pets but I still do weddings once and a while and yesterday I got to be a part of a wonderful, small Christmas eve wedding celebration with Jay and Bob who were absolutely wonderful to be around. This will definitely be a Christmas eve to remember.
